Have a bunch of unread messages in Gmail?

1. Use j and k (as in vi) to navigate up and down your list of unread conversations.

2. Use o open a conversation.

3. Use n and p (again as in vi) to navigate up and down mail in a conversation.

4. Use u to close a conversation.

Be careful not to accidentally hit y for archive.
